Chicago wedding photographer - Misha Media Blog featuring Weddings, Lifestyle and Portraits
Congratulations Pam & Joe! It was a great wedding weekend in Chicago! Although we started out the day with dense fog in the city, it lifted just in time to get this shot before their reception at Carmichael’s! Thank you for choosing Misha Media! 30 fingers, 30 toes, oh my!!! Meet Aiden, Reagan, and Rylee! These triplets belong to proud mommy Anna and daddy Ron! Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting these cuties and photographing them in their home. I must say, they are the cutest and tiniest little things! I told Anna and Ron that they were destined and blessed to have these babies, because after all, they were well prepared to have 3! Check out their engagement session (please scroll down – they had 3 furry “babies” before having these cute ones) =D More photos to come!

Absolute perfection… Our little chicken nuggets thank you!
Alexis & Josh couldn’t have pulled off a more perfect surprise wedding! Here’s their story… It was supposed to be a “couple’s shower” celebration in their home. We supposedly had photographed their engagement session right before their couple’s shower. This explained how dolled up Alexis was with her hair and make up. Nobody questioned it. They had told everyone that we were to finish off their ‘session’ in their home. About an hour into their party, there was a singer/guitarist who came in and started singing. At this time, Alexis and Josh had quietly slipped away into their bedroom and quickly changed to their wedding attire. After hearing him sing Bruno Mar’s “Marry You,” this was their cue that their ceremony was about to begin. With the help of several people that knew, including their parents and one friend (who was their officiant), their surprise wedding was perfect!
Alexis & Josh, thank you so much for trusting us in your day. You both are truly blessed to have such love and support by your friends and family. Best wishes and Congratulations!

some great stuff lots of cool pics…hard to pick…cheers mate
What a cool thing to do and i can honestly say i’ve never seen anything done like that here in the UK. You captured there special day brilliantly.
Me and my guy will turn 40 in the same year/same month…and I thought it would be awesome if we lured everyone under the pretense it was for our birthday, but be a SURPRISE wedding. So I love seeing this!
When Alexis called me to tell me that they were planning to have a SURPRISE WEDDING for their friends and family, I nearly fell off of my chair! It’s pretty amazing to be a part of this HUGE HUGE SECRET! After all of Alexis’ and Josh’s hard work, the plan went smoothly without a hitch and everyone was definitely surprised! More on their full blog post later this week. But first, here’s one of my faves!

I don’t know which one is worse, Chicago traffic or LA traffic! We had to travel 8 miles from UCLA to Disney Concert Hall and it took us 1 hour and 15 minutes on a Friday afternoon. Lyn and Michael were such troopers the whole day and they totally rocked out their engagement session! We had so much fun laughing in between photos that I had to tell Andy to stop cracking jokes and focus! Their big day has been a long time coming and we can’t wait to photograph their May wedding in San Diego! A special thanks to Ruby for helping during the session and for always being there for us. And lastly, thank you Chuck for assisting us with light (and entertaining Andy in the car, during traffic, while I had a nice nap in the back seat! haha).
