Congratulations to Meann & Brainard! Maeann & Brainard were guests at Meliza & Richie’s wedding last year and that’s actually how we met! We knew that we would be in for a treat for their first dance after seeing them dance during their engagement session. These two can dance! Thank you for an awesome day!

… and obviously had some down time to play some Guitar Hero! I love Guitar Hero and Rock Band! (BTW, Beatles Rockband is now out at your nearby game store!)

They wed at Christ the King Catholic Church in Lombard

You can see the “Arras” or Coins that were exchanged between Maeann & Brainard. They say that the louder the sound of the coins during the exchange between the bride and groom, the more wealthy and successful they will be as a couple. After the ceremony, we headed out to beautiful Cantigny Park in Wheaton.

They celebrated their wedding reception at the Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace.

This is the largest “Cupid Shuffle” I’ve seen at a reception. Good times!

Did you know?… that this exact same image above is what started it all for me? Let me explain… I started photography after being inspired by my own wedding photos. I have this exact same image hanging up on my own bedroom wall (of course it’s of me and Andy) and it’s a constant reminder for me and the path He has led me… I feel very blessed for finding my passion…

How I wish I can produce the same exact image for all my clients to pass on a little bit of “me”… But I don’t always get this beautiful light… But when I do, I’ll definitely get it!
