:: cathy & mike :: engaged!

When Cathy and Mike told me where they wanted their engagement session to be at the Art Institute of Chicago, I got so excited!  There’s something about going to the Art Museum that I’ve always loved!  It houses some of the most amazing art work of so many talented people.  Oh and did you know that it’s free on Thursdays?!  Yup, from 5pm to 8pm!   If you’ve never been there, what are you waiting for?!

Thank you for a very unique and fun engagement session!  See you guys in April!

They were featuring Misha Media art on the walls of these two!  (haha, I wish…)

I love the Mary Cassatt painting of “The Child’s Bath” (right side).

On their way to the new Alsdorf Galleries where South and Southeast Asian art are kept.

“Sunday Afternoon on La Grande Jatte” by Georges Seurat

Mike’s favorite painting… also featured in “Ferris Buehler’s Day Off”

    I would probably be jumping up and down with glee if someone told me they wanted their photos in an art museum. I don’t think the Dallas Museum of Art lets anyone in with cameras though, they aren’t quite as cool as Chicago!
