river forest country club wedding | leslie & jake

Congratulations to Leslie & Jake!  A couple of weeks ago, we had the honor of photographing their BIG day!  It started out to be such a super hot and humid day.  There was not a cloud in the sky, but shortly after their Ceremony at St. Scholastica in Woodridge, the clouds rolled in and out of nowhere, a huge down pour!  I’ll let the images below speak for themselves…  It looked like we weren’t going to get any photos outside because of the rain, but luckily, it suddenly stopped!!  And yes, of course we took advantage of the aftermath… Scroll down to see what I mean.  We didn’t exactly get to go to “plan A” for their photo spots, but this is the perfect example of making the most of what we had, and Leslie & Jake’s complete trust in us, no matter what… =D  Click on their engagement session photos and it will definitely cool you off on this hot summer day!

Leslie & Jake, where do I even begin?!  Thank you thank you for such an epic wedding.  You guys were so much fun to work with and so easy to photograph!  We wish you guys the best!  A special thank you to Danielle Designs for referring!

xoxo Michele and Andy

What’s New? For all you blog followers who follow our blog and gets regular updates via RSS, we thank you.  My last blog entry was of little Sara and at the end of the blog post, I had mentioned that I was going to post a personal blog about Misha’s 5th birthday.  I am sad to say that we’ve had a horrible last couple of weeks and obviously did not get to blog on anything…  Andy’s father passed away on June 7, 2011.  Ever since I can remember, when Andy and I started dating, he would always say to me, “Michele, call me ‘Dad’.”  I guess he knew way before Andy and I did that we were going to end up together…  Rest in peace, Papa.  I love you, and I will miss you dearly…
